This is a common point in a woman’s life when she is looking to lose weight. Losing weight after having children can be a challenging thing, especially with all the extra demands on your time and emotions.

Losing weight after the menopause

Many women gain weight following the menopause because of the decline in the hormone oestrogen. This can often leave women with poor body image and self-esteem. Annemarie also understands the challenges of losing weight whilst suffering from ‘co-morbidities’, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. Advice can be tailored to not only lose weight, but also help manage your other conditions.

Losing weight for an event

Whilst quick weight loss can be motivating, quick fixes for weight loss are not recommended because they are often unhealthy and unsustainable. However, if you are trying to shift weight for an important event such as a wedding or holiday, advice can be given on losing weight quickly in the healthiest way for you.
